Alguersuari wows Hong Kong fans

Jaime Alguersuari took to the streets of Hong Kong in the Red Bull Running Showcar as more than 40,000 spectators lined Lung Wo Road.

The Toro Rosso driver was in action on Saturday as part of Red Bull Running Showcar and put his F1 car through its paces, performing short sprints, burnouts, engine breaks and donuts.

A crowd of over 43,000 spectators watched on with superbike and drift show demonstrations all part of the day's action.

"I am very happy to get the chance to visit this energetic and fast-paced city," said Alguersuari.

"Hong Kong is not unlike the Formula One driver's life - always progressive, professional and concentrated.

"I love driving an F1 car, and it's great fun driving it away from the race track, to be able to drive an F1 car on the streets of Hong Kong, one of the busiest cities in the world, is crazy, so I am very fortunate to accomplished that."
