Grosjean: De la Rosa pushed me

Grosjean: De la Rosa pushed me

Romain Grosjean believes Pedro de la Rosa was to blame for their crash during Saturday's qualifying for the Brazilian GP.

Contending with a slippery surface, the result of earlier rain, Grosjean attempted to slide down the outside of de la Rosa when the two collided.

As a result Grosjean's front wing connected with the pit straight barriers, forcing him back into the pits for a new nose.

Down in 17th place when the incident took place, Grosjean failed to recover and was eliminated from qualifying.

"I was behind Pedro for the whole lap," he told Autosport.

"I was going to overtake him in a straight line and I don't think he saw me and pushed me into the barriers. I braked as much as I could, but we had contact."

He added: "It's a disaster. We had a very good car. I don't know what to say. Let's see tomorrow, the weather may be strange."
