'Early signs look promising'

Eric Boullier believes Romain Grosjean has moved on from last season and is full of confidence for this year's campaign.

Grosjean had a mixed first season with Lotus as first lap collisions were interspersed with podium finishes.

However, the incidents far outweighed the podiums resulting in a one-race ban for Grosjean after he took out Championship contenders Fernando Alonso and Lewis Hamilton at the start of the Belgian GP.

Boullier, though, is confident that his French driver has learnt lessons and is expecting a better performance this season.

"Romain did a good job during his first two days with the E21 and has started the year full of confidence, which is exactly what we expected from him," Boullier said.

"The difference is clear; he knows what he needs to do and the early signs look promising for the future."
