Emanuele Pirro will serve as the driver representative on the stewards panel at this weekend's European GP, the third time he has done so this season.
Pirro performed the role in China and Bahrain and will return to action in Valencia.
While the Italian turned out in 40 grand prixs durning a three-year career in Formula One, he is best known for his performances in the Les Mans 24 hour race where he claimed five victories.
Pirro will be joined on the panel by Garry Connelly, deputy president of the FIA Institute and director of the Australian Institute of Motor Sport Safety, and Paolo Longoni who is a member of the Italian Motorsport Commission.
