Pirelli announce tyre compounds

Pirelli have announced that all four of their dry compounds will be used in the next three races from medium to hard and supersoft to soft.

At each grand prix weekend the Formula One teams have a choice of two compounds to use, however, both have to be used during the grand prix unless it rains.

For Belgium, which takes place at the much-lauded Spa-Francorchamps circuit, the teams will use the medium and hard rubber, a combination that will be repeated at the following race in Italy.

However, for Singapore, Formula One's sole night grand prix, the supersoft and soft tyres will be availabe.

The Season's Tyre Choices
Australia Soft Medium
Malaysia Medium Hard
China Soft Medium
Bahrain Soft Medium
Spain Soft Hard
Monaco Supersoft Soft
Canada Supersoft Soft
Europe Soft Medium
Great Britain Soft Hard
Germany Soft Medium
Hungary Soft Medium
Belgium Medium Hard
Italy Medium Hard
Singapore Supersoft Soft
