Lotus duo to share testing duties

Romain Grosjean has revealed that he will share the pre-season testing and development duties with team-mate Kimi Raikkonen.

This year the teams will have 12 days of pre-season testing with three four-day outings.

The first begins on February 5th at Jerez before moving on to the Circuit de Catalunya for the final two outings.

This year Grosjean have equal opportunity to stamp his mark on the new Lotus F1 car with the 26-year-old revealing that both himself and Raikkonen are down for six days of running each.

"The next few weeks for me will be intense training, with the presentation of the new car at the end of the month," he told told French sports programme Stade2.

"Then I will have six days of testing in February [before] the beginning of the season in March."
