No FanVision for 2013

Formula One fans will not have access to the FanVision sets this season after the company failed to reach an agreement with Formula One Management.

Previously known as Kangaroo TV, FanVision gave spectators at the track the opportunity to watch instant replays while following live timing and race commentary.

This season, though, the device will fall by the wayside after FanVision failed to strike up a new deal with Formula One Management.

"As you know, we have, for some months, been trying to find the basis of an agreement between FanVision and FOM in order to continue providing the service in F1 in 2013," read a statement from FanVision.

"Unfortunately it is now clear that we are not going to be able to agree terms with FOM and very reluctantly we have to confirm that we won't be in F1 in 2013. It's a big blow for us."
