Horner signs new Red Bull deal

Christian Horner has had his contract as Team Principal of Red Bull Racing extended ahead of the start of the new Formula One season.

A team spokesperson confirmed that the 39-year-old Brit had agreed on a new long-term deal.

Horner has been in charge of the team since the Austrian energy drink company entered the sport in 2005, after taking over the then Jaguar team.

The team, with Germany's Sebastian Vettel as the number one driver, has won both the Drivers' Championship as well as the Constructor's title for the past three years.

Red Bull Racing is expected to unveil their car for the 2013 Championship on Sunday, before official testing starts at Jerez in Spain next week.
