Lewis Hamilton admits it would great if Kimi Raikkonen joined Red Bull as he would give Sebastian Vettel a "hard time".
With Mark Webber quitting Formula One at the end of the season, the Red Bull bosses have made no secret of the fact that Raikkonen is top of their wish list to replace the Australian next year.
Lotus, though, are determined to hang onto the Finn while Raikkonen is also yet to decide where he will drive in 2014.
Hamilton, who has on numerous occasions stated that Vettel's machinery is by far the best on the grid and played a major role in his three World Championships, says he would love to see Raikkonen challenging the German in the same car.
"Right now it would be really cool to see Kimi in a Red Bull. He would give Seb a hard time," he is quoted as saying in The Sun.
"Kimi is an incredible driver everyone knows that so with an even better car it would be interesting to see what he does with that."
Although Hamilton is 15 points ahead of team-mate Nico Rosberg in the Drivers' Championship, he is yet to taste victory with Mercedes whereas the German has already won two races.
"What you learn is to take losses on the chin and to learn and grow from those experiences. You can't always be ahead of your team-mate.
"You can't win all the time, that's the biggest thing I have learned.
"Some things happen for a reason. But I am still the same as always. I drive aggressively and go out to win."
