Michael Schumacher has yet to decided whether or not he wants to stay in Formula One beyond his current Mercedes deal.
The German's three-year contract, which saw him return to the sport with Mercedes in 2010, expires at the end of this campaign.
And although there has been talk of the seven-time World Champ re-signing for at least another season, for now Schumacher has yet to decide.
"I definitely don't want to talk about my guidelines, but of course I have my ideas!" he told the official F1 website when asked what would swing his decision.
"I will sit down with the team when the time is right to discuss the future. But there is nothing concrete I would be able to tell you right here, right now."
Last time out in China, Mercedes claimed the victory with Nico Rosberg behind the wheel. But whether Schumacher can be the one to do this weekend he isn't predicting.
"The tyres do degrade very quickly so it will be all about tyre management on Sunday.
"It's the same thing over the last 20 years for me. Friday is to warm up and the times mean nothing.
"The question is whether you were able to complete your programme properly and I have to say that it wasn't a bad start to the weekend.
"As for everything else, let's wait and see..."
