Ferrari looking to help Bianchi

Ferrari are pushing to secure Ferrari-backed Jules Bianchi a place in Formula One this season.

Bianchi, who is a member of the Ferrari Driver Academy, filled the role of reserve driver for Force India this past season.

The Frenchman contested nine Friday practice sessions as well as the Young Driver outing where he was in action for both Force India and Ferrari.

But despite his double duties, the 23-year-old has yet to be confirmed by either for this season. Bianchi, though, is believed to be in the running for a Force India race-seat.

And although Ferrari did not single out the midfield team, the Scuderia's team boss Stefano Domenicali recently revealed that they are doing all they can to ensure Bianchi has a future in F1.

"Regarding [Bianchi], who is also part of the Ferrari Development Academy, we are currently trying to find him a role in F1 and, when we have some news, we will let you know," Domenicali said.
