Hamilton predicts Brazilian 'lottery'

Pole sitter Lewis Hamilton reckons anything could happen in Sunday's Brazilian GP as heavy rain is expected to hit the circuit.

Although off to Mercedes next season, Hamilton vowed ahead of his final race with McLaren that he would give it his all throughout the weekend.

And that's exactly what he has done so far.

The 27-year-old dominated Friday's practices before following those up with his seventh pole position of the season in Saturday's qualifying.

It was an impressive lap from the soon-to-be Mercedes driver, who crossed the line with a 1:12.458 to head a McLaren 1-2.

"It has been a good weekend so far," Hamilton said..

"I am grateful to be able to put the car on the front row and to have had my last qualifying with McLaren as a one-two, it is a fantastic job by the team and I hope we can turn it into something positive tomorrow."

However, Hamilton is not expecting a gentle Sunday afternoon stroll around the Interlagos circuit as there is an 80 percent chance of heavy rain.

"I think the weather will be tricky tomorrow, it will make it more of a lottery.

"We have put ourselves in a really good position and we will do best job we can as a team. It's the best we have been for quite some time."

He added: ""We need to work together as a team. We'll make sure we do absolutely everything to get the job done."
