Susie Wolff re-signs with Williams

Susie Wolff will continue her role as a Williams development driver and will be the first to test the new FW35.

The team have announced that Wolff, who joined early last year, will play a "valuable role" this season as her level of involvement will increase.

Wolff will not only be spending more time in the simulator but will also do the majority of the aerodynamic testing out on track.

The 30-year-old has also been given the honour of being the first to drive the new Williams FW35 at Idiado next month.

"I really enjoy my time working with Williams and feel very much at home here," said Wolff. "Last year was a valuable experience and I certainly feel that I've developed a lot as a driver.

"Increasing my role this year will further this progression and I can't wait to get behind the wheel of the FW35 for the first time next month.

"I'm showing that women can play a role at the top level of motorsport and would like to thank Sir Frank Williams and the whole of the technical team for the trust they continue to show in me."
