Kimi Raikkonen says he has "no hard feelings" towards anyone at Ferrari following their decision to get rid of him after 2009.
The Finn won the 2007 World Championship with the Scuderia, but the team decided to buy out his contract for the 2010 campaign and replaced him with Fernando Alonso.
Raikkonen has never discussed the finer details of the split in public, but the 32-year-old admits the issue could probably have been done better.
"I felt good with them," he told Italian magazine Autosprint. "I won a World title and now I have no more feelings towards them, neither good nor bad. I'm happy with what I got.
"Things could probably be done better, but what does it matter now? Yes, I know the reasons why I didn't stay with them, but I don't feel like talking about that now. As I said, I have no hard feelings towards anyone."
Following his split from Ferrari, Raikkonen entered into negotiations with McLaren about joining them for the 2010 season but the talks broke down with some suggesting he wanted too much money.
"That's not true. The point is that I could see no reason for signing for a certain number of months. I wasn't that desperate, it's not as if I would have done anything to stay in F1," he said.
