Webber focused on wins not Ferrari

Webber focused on wins not Ferrari

Mark Webber says he's not fazed about rumours linking him to Ferrari, rather he's just focused on winning his first title with Red Bull.

In the build-up to last weekend's Monaco Grand Prix, Webber was strongly linked to a one-year deal with Ferrari for next season.

The Aussie, who is out of contract with Red Bull Racing, will reportedly move over to Ferrari for one season - his final year in Formula One - before making way for his current team-mate Sebastian Vettel to swap to Ferrari.

And although Webber has not denied the rumours, the 35-year-old says for now his only focus is race victories and a World title.

"This always happens around this time of year," Webber told AAP.

"Drivers are linked with moves for the following year, but only rarely does anyone do anything now, or make any major decisions.

"I am just racing to win the title for now."
