Lotus to launch online

Thursday 24-January-2013 05:36

Lotus will be the first Formula One team to take the covers off their 2013 car when they launch online on 28 January.

The Enstone-based team, who finished fourth in last year's Constructors' Championship, will unveil the car via their YouTube channel on Monday night.

The launch will be streamed live at 7:15pm GMT with with drivers Kimi Raikkonen and Romain Grosjean in attendance.

Lotus' decision means they will be the first team to display their 2013 challenger with McLaren launching three days later.

Pre-season testing kicks off a week after the Lotus launch at the Jerez circuit.
