Felipe Massa has ruled out Ferrari handing one driver number one status despite McLaren putting all their efforts behind Lewis Hamilton in the title race.
With eight races remaining on this year's calendar Ferrari's two drivers, Massa and Kimi Raikkonen, are second and third in the Drivers' Championship, four and seven points respectively behind Hamilton.
And it's because the duo are so close together that Ferrari won't be putting their efforts behind just one driver - at least not until one emerges as the stronger contestant.
"For the moment where we are is very close in terms of points," Massa told Autosport.
"For sure, maybe when we see that one driver has a lot more points than the other driver we will see what we can do.
"But it is not the case now, and it doesn't change anything at the moment for us.
"We are always working the same and we will keep it like that."
Asked whether Ferrari's decision to give their drivers equal status meant that Hamilton had the advantage in the title race, Massa said: "It's no disadvantage."
